Hottest day ever on Antarctica – 65 degree F. was recorded on Feb 6th 2020. This record high is alarming because it has only been five years since the previous record was set.

The result is that enormous amount of glacier collapsed and melted at a much faster pace. Scientist suggests that this rising temperature is caused by rising levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
